Love In A Bracelet Gives Back
I donate a portion of my profits to Long Valley Hopes.

“Together, we can make a meaningful impact in our local community
for families affected by life-threatening illnesses. Our mission is to provide financial support to local residents and families affected by cancer and other serious illnesses, and to engage with the local community to provide education and resources about cancer-related preventative care."
I donate to Long Valley Hopes in memory of my late fiance, Scott Unger, who passed away on October 11, 1994. I witnessed firsthand the power of support that he received from others. Scott was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma at the age of 27. This was a particularly cruel twist of fate. He had already survived a horrific car accident with three weeks in a coma and several months of inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation. He was subsequently struck by lightning, only to be diagnosed with cancer a couple years later at such a young age, just three months into our engagement. His motto in life was, “There is no “I” in “T-E-A-M”, and this was particularly true during his fight for his life. Every friend, family member, doctor, and nurse was a member of his team.
Having a team and knowing that others were supporting him made a huge positive impact on him, particularly during the last days of his life. During his treatment, after he passed away, and after my father’s death six weeks later, the love bestowed upon me is what helped me to get through those difficult days. I wish to carry that forward by contributing to Long Valley Hopes' mission.
